Financial Statement

  • Kenneth Copeland Ministries South Africa (KCM) has been operating as a registered not-for-profit organization (also Public Benefit Organization or PBO) in terms of section 21 of the Companies Act of 1971 in South Africa, since April 2005.

  • Prior to April 2005, we have been operating as a registered external company or extension of Eagle Mountain International Ministries aka Kenneth Copeland Ministries as registered in Texas, United States of America.
  • We operate under the Income Tax Act and South African Revenue Service (SARS) requirments.
  • KCM South Africa is also registered in line with the requirements of SARS with the Department of Social Development in South Africa, as a Non-Profit Organization (NPO). Our registration number is 042-489-NPO.
  • All donations received by KCM South Africa stay in South Africa to fulfill our not-for-profit objectives as specified in our articles of association.
  • Donations made to KCM South Africa are NOT tax deductible under section 18A exemption, as KCM South Africa does not meet the requirements of Part 2 of the Ninth Schedule of the Income Tax Act. As such, tax certificates for donations to the PBO can not be issued by the ministry.
  • At least 85% of the expenses of KCM South Africa are used to benefit people within South Africa.
  • KCM South Africa submits annually required reports and financial audited statements to SARS Tax Exempt unit, Company Intellectual Property and Registration Office (CIPRO), and the Department of Social Development as required by the relevant statutes.
  • KCM South Africa protects the privacy of all donors by keeping all personal information private.
  • KCM South Africa submits to an annual audit by an independent public accounting firm in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • A South African Board of Directors who carries the fiduciary responsibility of KCM South Africa, made up of 3 executive and 1 non-executive directors, runs the ministry on a day to day basis.
  • A Board of 7 Subscribers made up of a majority of South Africans and some United States of America members, meet regularly to appoint directors, appoint auditors, approve financials, establish policies, oversee operational budgets, capital expenditures and review KCM South Africa’s progress against it’s objectives.
  • 90% of all KCM South Africa’s donations are used for services and outreaches in line with our objectives.
  • 10% of all revenue is voluntarily set aside for giving into other South African Registered PBO’s with similar KCM South Africa purposes.
