Prayer Moves Storm and Secures House

Thanks for agreeing with us in prayer during the storm that came through our area. We asked for agreement that our house would not slide or collapse into the pit we dug for a basement. God gave my husband the wisdom to put the house on jacks and it did not move for months.

Even through 76 mph winds, the plastic that covered the wiring, studs and sheetrock held so our home was not harmed. We claimed that the storm would split and go around us, and on July 4, 2004, it did just that.

Most of our small town lost trees and power lines were down, but on our little place we just had leaves and twigs. You could literally see where the storm went around us.
